A free medical camp was organized at Latala on 3 April with the assistance of the Malwa Federation and villagers. Professional medical assistance and advice was given to villagers by a team from the prestigious CMC Hospital, Ludhiana.
Jassi inaugurated the camp, which was also visited by S. Jagpal Singh Khangura, Parminder Latala, Avtar Singh Latala, Ranjit Singh Mangat, Bhag Singh Dardi, Shampy Bhanohar, RanjitSingh Rubi and others.

The state government has directed all the boards and corporations not to get their diaries and calendars published separately and to send their demand for stationery to the Controller, Printing and Stationery, Punjab.
